Hi, I am Olga Melnikova - filmmaker, writer, creative producer and life explorer.
My mission as a film professional is to help others to profoundly enhance their lives through filmmaking,
video art performances, composing music, culture development and storytelling.
It was always a question since early career how to combine art, moving visual images, creativity
and entrepreneurship in arts. The answer came along with life's journey, passion towards visual world,
music and dramatic art, reflection of important themes in own films.

Recently implemented film projects of the last three years brought me to observe diversity of our world
and visit such regions as USA, China, India, Tatarstan and Middle East.
Currently I live in London and Riga, working with partners and clients worldwide, flexible to travel
for project reasons, create, develop and explore together.
The times we live now force us to make strong and certain decisions towards creative integrity collaboration with passion driven professionals. It's time to come together and create extraordinary projects.

Awarded music film on Gorecki's Symphony
Awarded film at Cannes Film Festival. All shots were made over three years in Riga, inspired by Kiorastami's film "24Frames"and Górecki's Third Symphony and songs sung by Dawn Upshaw, conducted by David Zinman and the London Sinfonietta. The dominant themes of the symphony are motherhood and separation through war.

Short documentary about Robert Taylor Tayman
IKIRU - short documentary about Robert Taylor Tayman and his theatre work with actors and theatre performers. Film is based on particular theatre methodology. Robert Taylor influenced the world theatre with his unique professional presence and collaborated with theatre legend Peter Brook in 70ies.

Film7Days - innovative idea in film industry. Competition between international teams to produce their films in Kazan region, Tatarstan from 2019. Each year participated 10 team.
